Anyone can roll a wall. What decides whether it still looks right in three years is what happened before the first coat: filling and sanding, caulking, masking, priming bare or patched areas, and protecting everything that is not being painted. On exteriors in Northern Colorado that also means allowing for sun exposure and temperature swings, which are hard on south and west elevations. We are strict about prep because it is the part that fails first when it is skipped.
Painting sits alongside the rest of what we do, so it can run on its own or as the finish stage of a remodel.
When the same company builds, remodels and paints, the painter is not inheriting somebody else’s problems. Drywall is finished to a standard that will take paint, trim is set to be finished, and if something needs fixing before it is coated, it gets fixed rather than covered. It also means one point of accountability at the end, when the punch list is the thing that decides whether you are happy.

Both. We take on full interior repaints, exterior repaints including siding, trim, soffits and fascia, cabinet and trim finishing, and the finish painting on our own new builds and remodels.

Generally the warmer, drier stretch of the year, because most exterior coatings need surface and air temperatures within a range to cure properly, and they need dry conditions either side of application. We will tell you if the weather window is wrong rather than put a coat on that will not last.
